As far as stress at the workplace goes, I know I have it pretty easy. I make my own hours, and work from home, so it's not exactly a stressful situation by any means. That being said, I am my own worst enemy when it comes to things like stress because I tend to pile more onto my plate than I can handle, and am hard on myself a lot of the time. For example, working from home means I am pretty efficient with my time so when I finish a whole day's worth of work in five hours, I have a hard time not working for the rest of the day. I feel like I might as well get the most out of my hours, you know? The downside to that is that I can burn out really easily, so I schedule forced breaks throughout the day where I'll run errands or take care of the pup. It's not tough work by any means, but it comes with its own set of stressors, as does any job I suppose. In today's post, I wanted to talk about what I do to de-stress.
