A few weeks ago Lauren came into work with a bottle of champagne to toast to our newest project...
And I haven't had a drink in, oh, three or four years due to all the headache of the Lyme treatment aftermath but sometimes you have to let your hair down and sip some bubbly when you have good news.
And we have good news.
Very, very good news.
We got a book deal!
I can't share too many details just yet, but I can tell you the book will cover everything from pranayama to prasarita padottanasana and serve as a fantastic supplement to your yoga journey. It will be released in fall of 2016.
We will be posting updates and asking for your input via our behind the scenes instagram account, periscope (@yogabycandace) and now and then on here.
I am a mix of emotions. (I might've silently cried on the phone when the publishing house said they loved the idea.) I'm so excited, nervous (hello, imposter syndrome), proud and above all, grateful.
The blog, which started when a lightbulb went off in my head during one particularly grueling day of teacher training in Thailand, has blossomed into a full-time job where every day is different, and nothing is impossible. Between our yoga retreats, the YBC app, our discovery box program, our DVD and digital downloads, our growing community and now a book - I feel like I could burst with the amount of joy in my heart. I love sharing this journey with you, I love getting to know the people in our community, and I am so deeply thankful for your support.
