We have a bunch of Namaslay workshops planned all over the country so be sure to see if we're coming to a city near you. We're also planning our retreats for 2016-17 and have just announced our Kenya Safari Yoga Retreat and Miami Yoga Retreat, both of which are going to be an absolute blast.
In today's yoga video, I'm sharing one of my favorite styles of yoga - a creative, no-mat vinyasa flow. I love it because I focus on transitions, which is where you really build strength and control, which is especially important for people who are prone to hypermobility.
In this yoga video, we will start with a guided centering. Then, we'll slowly move into a flow that includes side plank variations, downward facing dog, wild thing, warrior 2, half moon pose and sugar cane, among others. From there, we take it down to the floor to work on flexibility and gentle hip opening before ending with a five minute savasana.
