Cherries are known to help reduce inflammation, so I've been experimenting with them in my shakes and this one came out so good that I thought I should share. It's a thick shake, almost like a pudding, and it was just right - not bland, but not too sweet, either. Here's what you'll need:
Ingredients for Cherry Chocolate Shake
15 organic cherries, pitted
5 ice cubes
1 organic avocado
1t cinnamon
1 heaping tablespoon raw cacao powder
1T flaxseed
1T organic local raw honey
Directions
Put everything into a high powered blender (I use this) and blend until desired consistency. (I blended for about 1 minute, on high.) Drink and thrive.
