I was in St. Louis to teach a yoga workshop a few months back, and while at Seven Gables Inn, I filmed this yoga practice for tight hips. (Seven Gables Inn is adorable, by the way. It’s this cute little boutique hotel in a beautiful part of St. Louis. It’s been newly remodeled, and Marketing Director Lauren and I had such a nice stay.)
This yoga practice is just under twenty minutes and is going to be particularly helpful for cyclists, runners, and anyone who sits for long periods of time during the day. I aimed to open up all parts of the hips, so you’ll see stretches for the hamstrings, adductors (inner thighs), piriformis and outer thighs, hip flexors and psoas, and then because the whole body is connected, we also did a little side body opening as well. Give it a try and let me know how it goes for you down in the comments section below. And don’t forget, you can now become a Namaslay® Studios Online member!
