One of the things I learned from Fairy Gutmother at our Yoga and Gut Healing Retreat was that our bodies best break down food and absorb nutrients when our bodies are in a parasympathetic state, which means we are not stressed and not hurried. Rather, we are calm and focused. Enter this meditation.
This meditation is, yes, meant for improved digestion, but honestly it can work for any time you're feeling anxious or stressed out. Simply sit tall wherever you are and press play.
I mention this in the guided meditation, but I firmly believe that yoga is a complement to treatment. By that, I mean that yoga is not the cure-all for improved digestion.
