Since launching the Back Strength and Stability Program and the Intention Factor™ Fitness Program (and subsequently, our Onboarding Program), I’ve had a number of people message me to ask if I would do a glute-specific workout program. Typically, these people have their own programming and are looking for something glute-specific to complement what they already do. I’m excited to announce that we are finally live!
The Intention Factor™ Glute Program is here! And I’ve got all the details for you in today’s post.
Why train glutes?
Glutes are the biggest and most powerful muscle group in the human body. While a lot of people want a rounder butt for aesthetics, glutes provide stability for a lot of functional movement as well: from picking up your small child to helping someone move a couch to getting up off the toilet - these are all things that require strong glutes. In addition, stronger glutes make a stronger athlete. Strong glutes also help to stabilize the pelvis, knees and spine, and are instrumental for injury prevention and improved posture.
Will I only work glutes in this program?
When it comes to training, obviously there are some movements that specifically target glutes, but the majority of movements target multiple muscle groups simultaneously, so you can expect to also see strength improvements in your legs, core and, to a lesser degree, the upper body as well (although not much).
Who is this program for?
This program is designed for people who are happy with their own training program and who just need a little extra help when it comes to glute training.
What equipment is required and how are the workouts designed?
You will need a set of dumbbells, a set of short loop resistance bands, and a long loop resistance band.
There are 3 glute workouts that should take you between 25 - 40 minutes, and 3 glute finishers. Finishers are to be done at the end of a workout (you can choose to do them on the day you train glutes or on another workout day), they take between 5 - 15 minutes. These workouts will be written out behind a password protected webpage, with a link demonstrating each movement - they are not a follow-along style workout.
Because it's important to keep muscles continually challenged in order to see improvements, the program will change every 4 weeks.
How does billing work?
The program is a monthly subscription. Every 3 weeks, you will be charged $15.99 and this will automatically ensure you receive the following program (remember, the programming changes every 4 weeks to ensure muscles are being continually challenged and you are moving in different planes of motion). You can unsubscribe anytime within the first 3 weeks of payment, should you wish to discontinue.
How and when will the program arrive?
The program launches on March 6th and you'll receive your program via email by 10am EST on the 5th.
Registration closes on March 5th at 12pm EST, and won’t reopen again until April, so sign up now!
