This weekend was a little wild. I smashed my face on the washing machine, of all things, when I remembered my prescription for my glasses was in a sweatshirt I was washing. I wound up with my first ever black eye, but nothing a little concealer couldn’t handle.
For Valentine’s Day, I got Dan a meal delivery subscription through Trifecta Nutrition, and that’s been such a great way to relieve some stress because we are both just so busy these days. A quick meal I had this weekend, while waiting for our next delivery, was wild tuna with celery, half an avocado, salt and pepper, cayenne pepper and a little lemon juice. So good.
The Trifecta Nutrition meals are really good, though! We are on week 2 - and I’ve committed to six weeks just to give us a break, because while I wish we could do it indefinitely, it’s a little pricey. But I do feel like you get what you pay for sometimes, and the meals are organic, locally-sourced, and the meat is grass-fed and seafood is wild. Can’t really beat that! They come prepared and you can eat them within 7 - 10 days, or freeze for up to six months.
In other news, I was proud of myself for getting a workout in from Intention Factor™ Fitness Program. People are thrilled with the program so far, according to our Facebook group, and I’m loving participating as well. Registration will open again at the end of March but if you want to start training for it now, I just launched our Onboarding Program last week. That’s the program to follow that will essentially train you to be prepared and ready to rock the Intention Factor™ Fitness Program because this thing is no joke. Super intense.
On Saturdays I have a private group for Mom and Me yoga, which is so much fun - I mean, just look at these two!! I’m so glad this mother asked me to do it a few months ago. At first, I was so nervous - I don’t have a ton of experience with tweens, and I just felt wholly unprepared and inadequate, but she assured me I would be fine (she’s been a longtime client of mine) and sure enough, it’s been a hit with the tweens and I’m really loving teaching it as well. If there’s one positive thing to come from the pandemic, it’s that when it comes to business, I’ve definitely been pushed way outside my comfort zone but it’s all been for the better. I think that’s something I’ll do a podcast episode on this season. I’m hoping to start recording this week, so if you have any requests, leave them in the comments below!
Cheers to March - a new month, and a fresh clean slate to keep chipping away at your dreams. xo
