Hello from gorgeous Costa Rica. (See pics on snapchat: @yogaby_candace)
I spent the morning at the beach (empty!) and now I'm sitting on the patio off my hotel room at Sugar Beach with ocean views that's also in the middle of the jungle. My only complaint is that I have to leave and get to work! :) I'm pretty sure this will be the next venue for an upcoming retreat, though. Simple but clean accommodations right on a private black sand beach, and a nice yoga platform that faces the ocean - amazing. Huge thank you to Pacific Trade Winds for arranging and organizing my stay. They're a fantastic bi-lingual company based here in Costa Rica that organizes everything from family vacations to group tours. They're a delight to work with - (super fast response time!) - and are highly recommended.
Anyway! Today I am leaving you with a quick video on how to transition from tripod headstand to crow pose. This is a really fun transition that is meant for people who are experienced with both inversions and who are ready to link them together in their practice. Definitely not appropriate for beginners, although I do encourage beginners to watch the video, and keep the points in mind for when it's time to give them a go. Let me know how it goes for you down in the comments below and please remember that you can request a video over on the yoga forum!
Lots of love, C.
