A lot of blogs (including my favorite health blog) do a "What I ate Wednesday" post where they share what they ate the day before. I love reading them because they're a good way to get ideas for when I find myself in a rut eating the same old thing. So here's my contribution, though I added what I drank, too, because I think it's important to see how much you're drinking and if you're hydrated enough. Anyway, from above: homemade granola with oat milk, two glasses of my favorite green drink, and lunch was a blood orange and toast with mashed avocado and sprouts.
A glass of alkaline water with a little pure cranberry, fresh lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. Dinner was a millet bowl with green beans and grilled tofu in a homemade spinach avocado sauce. Dessert was two dark chocolate covered rice cakes with almond butter. And a snack from earlier in the day was almonds and dried cranberries with a cup of green tea (throughout the day I drank four cups of tea). Not pictured is two large glasses of water with lemon.
Will you share what you ate yesterday? I am in desperate need of ideas- I've made that millet bowl twice a week for the last few weeks ever since I discovered it and I'm ready for a change!
