When I'm traveling or teaching at a yoga workshop, or in this case, a yoga teacher training, I try to pack comfortable, versatile pieces that I can mix and match. Here in the mountains of Tennessee at our second Namaslay® Yoga Teacher Training, the climate is warm during the day and cool in the evenings so I also packed pieces that I can layer on top of each other. And while I'd love to sit back, relax, and take in the stunning views of this venue, my days are actually quite busy. I'm usually teaching 4-5 workshops with the YTTs, going over the next day's lesson plans, getting my workout in, walking Buckles and getting a phone call in with our app developers. Besides me, there are additional instructors teaching different curriculum and who also have different ideas of what comfort and style are as well, so I thought it would be fun to share what we're wearing and why. Comment below if you have any questions you'd also like to ask our instructors or let us know what you like to wear to yoga or a workout.

I like to - no, I need to be comfortable when I'm working. Luckily, my job requires yoga pants (hollerrrr). These are old Lululemon align pants, so they have less compression than their Wunder Under counterparts, which is what I wear when I workout. I've got on my linen sweater by Rails which I got about a year ago. The socks are Bombas, a company I love because for every pair of socks purchased, they donate a pair to a homeless shelter. For my hair, I've been air-drying and using Ouai Wave Spray which helps to bring out the little bit of natural curl my hair has. I love that product - it saved my hair in the humidity of the Namaslay® Yoga Teacher Training in Thailand. Shop a similar look below.

As one of the strength and conditioning coaches, I'm in workout clothes on the reg. I'm usually in a pair of leggings, sports bra and a loose, breathable top that I can lose if it gets too hot in this Tennessee heat. I love these leggings by The Upside, an Australian brand, because they are high-waisted, the length is longer so I can feel comfortable in both yoga and strength training, and the print on the calf gives my muscular legs great proportion. With all the sweat and this Tennessee heat, I tame this long, thick red hair, with a bit of Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Relaxing balm through it to keep the shine and tame the fly-aways.

I'm usually starting the day off with the 5:30am meditation and yoga practice and being up high in the Smokey Mountains, it's quite cold. I keep warm while my body builds in this Spiritual Gangster sweatshirt that's thin and soft, but warm and comfy. I also love the fit of Athleta leggings that have this delicate side cut-out to add a little extra to the outfit. And a great pair of comfy slides gets me from the main house to the outdoor pavilion where I sometimes teach.
