The other day someone asked if I could share my skincare routine. I actually didn’t really have much of one until this year, when I set a New Year’s Resolution to start one. (Side note: is everything going to be a New Year’s Resolution? I feel like that’s all I’m writing about these days…sorry?!)
Anyway, here we go:
Morning Skincare Routine:
In the morning, the first thing I do is use this NuFace, my friend gave me last year for Christmas. It lifts the face, a lot like gua sha does, and I notice more lasting results when I do it with frequency. I try to do it for 5 minutes every morning. Then, I use this serum around my eyes, followed by a few drops of hyaluronic acid with B5. I then get dressed, giving my skin time to absorb, and finish with this moisturizer.
Evening Skincare Routine:
In the evening, I take off my makeup with whatever remover I have. I got this Farmacy remover as a sample and really love it. Beautycounter has a similar one I also love. I like using a washcloth with it in the shower so I can exfoliate as well. Then, I use the serum again around my eyes, followed by vitamin c, hyaluronic acid, and this moisturizer.
Once per week I’ll use this peel, which I love for its tingle and how soft my skin feels afterwards. About three times per week, I also use this LED light shield - I just started, though, so can’t really say how effective it is.
And that’s pretty much my current skincare routine…now if only I could stick with it for longer than a week! Fingers crossed….
