Motivation Monday is a weekly series on YBC® where we'll unveil that week's podcast episode of Namaslay® with YogaByCandace®, a few inspirational uplifting or interesting bits from around the web, and new books, finds and other goodies our team is loving.
Happy Monday, everyone! We’ve just arrived to Bolzano after a long journey from another successful retreat in Santorini. The cool blues of the Aegean Sea were such a delight, and I’ll be excited to head back in April for Namaslay® YTT, but man is it nice to take in the fresh mountain air and all the ravioli of Northern Italy. The guests of our Personal Growth and Yoga Retreat arrive tomorrow, and I’m really excited about the unique meditations, classes and workshops we have in store this time around. After a long day of travel, including a delayed train and missed connection, I’m looking forward to a shower and a good night’s sleep!
This week on the Namaslay® podcast, I’m excited to share Laci Chisholm, the founder of the NYC dance and fitness studio, Fit 4 Dance. Laci’s enthusiasm for dance and inspiring women and children to take control of their health through exercise is contagious, and her story of starting out as a teacher and moving into entrepreneurship with big dreams resonates strongly with my own background. Tune in for this week’s episode to hear more about how Laci turned her passion into a thriving business and helps women in her community connect with the best versions of themselves. This podcast is available on iTunes, Google Play, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, and pretty much anywhere you listen to podcasts. Or, you can also listen here. And if you have a second, would you mind taking this survey? We just want to get some demographics about who's listening to the podcast. Thanks!
Here are a few things on my radar:
I bought this suitcase in Germany, where it is slightly less expensive (and no tax, woop!) and it has served me so well on cobblestone streets! The thing just GLIDES.
This book was so good I read it in a day and a half.
Spending this week in the mountains has me dreaming of finding more getaways in the States.
I’ve been mulling over opportunities to invest in real estate, but I also think a recession is heading our way.
After working with Namaslay® YTT graduate and self proclaimed posture queen, Eva Tzschaschel, this week, I’ve been re-evaluating the way I sleep and thought these videos were helpful.
Here’s to a great week!
