Motivation Monday is a weekly series on YBC® where we'll unveil that week's podcast episode of Namaslay® with YogaByCandace®, a few inspirational uplifting or interesting bits from around the web, and new books, finds and other goodies our team is loving.
Hello everyone! This week has been AMAZING because for the first time in several months, I’m home for an extended period of time. We finished our first ever Namaslay® Luxe Fitness and Yoga Retreat in beautiful Costa Rica, and after a night of little sleep I taught a fun arm balance workshop at Namaslay® Studios before settling in to my favorite weekly routines of work, teaching yoga, hitting the gym, and taking Buckles on long walks in the cold weather. I’m looking forward to staying put for a while, reflecting on this year, and thinking of my goals for 2020 as we prepare for the holidays. Today - I’ve got another podcast episode for you, that I’m so proud to share. In this episode, I chat with Kevin Kerr and Eva Tzschaschel, graduates of the first Namaslay® Yoga Teacher Training in Thailand, about life after teacher training and how they've found creative ways to start their careers as yoga teachers. They’ve really done an incredible job and stepping out as teachers and doing incredible work. Listen in for tips on using your teacher training to complement your unique gifts, how to nail a studio audition, and how to tune in to your goals and take action toward them!
This podcast is available on iTunes, Google Play, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, and pretty much anywhere you listen to podcasts. Or, you can also listen here. And if you have a second, would you mind taking this survey? We just want to get some demographics about who's listening to the podcast. Thanks!
Here's what’s on my radar this week:
Revisiting ahimsa and how I can be more mindful of my practice of non-harm
I’m really inspired to grow our community in 2020 and am trying to think outside the box with these ideas.
I’ve been inspired by our Hip Hop classes to start practicing my moves, and my Insta feed is full of choreography.
Since removing eggs from my diet, breakfast has been a struggle. This perspective on acceptable breakfasts is changing my tune.
I’m always on a mission to get more and better quality sleep, especially since reading this research.
Here’s to a great week!
