Motivation Monday is a new weekly series on YBC® where we'll unveil that week's podcast episode of Namaslay with YogaByCandace®, a few inspirational uplifting or interesting bits from around the web, and new books, finds and other goodies our team is loving.
It's been an incredibly emotional weekend! If you follow along on Instagram, you saw that we graduated our twenty-five Namaslay® Yoga Teacher Trainees, which was a beautiful experience! I'll share more on the blog about that soon. After that, I set out for Oman, where I am scheduled to do some social media work with Shangri-La Al Husn Resort. I'll be here for most of the week and then will be making my way over to Santorini to prep for my final retreat of the summer. It's a little surreal because I feel like we spent the whole year planning this summer and it's gone by in a flash. Then, I'll return and prepare for the first US-based Namaslay® Yoga Teacher Training Tennessee in August. We still have a few spots left too if you'd like to join.
In finishing this training and preparing for the Santorini retreat, I wanted to share some tips on how to host a successful retreat because I've had to learn the hard way in some instances. So, in today's Namaslay® podcast, I'll talk about everything from selecting the perfect venue, to setting the correct price point to help you learn how to create audience-pleasing and money-making retreats. If you have any experiences you'd like to share on hosting retreats or if you think of anything to also take into consideration, please comment below.
Namaslay® with YogaByCandace® Season 2, Episode 9: Today’s Namaslay® podcast episode is a continuance of last week’s podcast, in which I talked about how I prep, plan and market yoga workshops. Building upon that, today’s episode is all about prepping, planning and promoting a successful yoga retreat. If you’re a yoga teacher looking to start leading retreats, this podcast is for you! It is available on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and pretty much anywhere you listen to podcasts. Or, you can also listen here. And if you have a second, would you mind taking this survey? We just want to get some demographics about who's listening to the podcast. Thanks!
