Hello hello! I'm back from Italy and just running around getting errands done and unpacking. It was a wonderful trip and I can't wait to share more about it later on this week. In the meantime, I have a Core of the Matter Yoga Workshop happening in Short Hills, New Jersey soon, so if you're local to the area, sign up! Also, you can now pre-order the fall Mantra Box®! It'll ship out November 30th and we are almost sold out!
In today's yoga video, I'm sharing a fifteen minute hip opening yoga video. This is a nice, gentle way to ease tension through the legs, low back and hip area. One of the most valuable lessons I learned in my yoga teacher training was that everything is connected. Low back pain is often caused from weak abdominals or tight hips. Shoulder pain can be caused from tight chests or weak upper back muscles. Keeping this in mind, opening up the hips may lead to relief from minor back pain and sciatica issues.
I hope you find it helpful! Feel free to give it a try and let me know how it goes for you down in the comments below.
