It's been an incredible week here in Kauai, Hawaii. I've seen dolphins, whales, monk seals and sea turtles. I've hiked, taken a helicopter ride, went for the worst boat ride of my life (more on that below), and relaxed on the beach. I've had my first poke bowl (I know, I know), and eaten more fish tacos than I can count. Despite being a work trip, this trip has offered much more leisure time than I had anticipated, and I really, really needed it for my soul. In the last month and a half I've been to Panama, Los Angeles, Dubai, back to Los Angeles, and in another week I've got to go back to Europe. It's a lot, and it's amazing, but it does take a toll on me. I'm so grateful to be in nature this week in Kauai. Kauai is a little bit magic, and I can't wait to share more here on the blog in a few weeks.
Monday
It's beautiful out and I'm in a comfy pair of boyfriend shorts from Urban Outfitters (mine are a lighter wash of this pair), and a marigold crop top, paired with my sandals from Greece.
Tuesday
Exploring Hanapepe in Rag & Bone shorts I thrifted last week in LA, an old F21 lacy tank top (similar if you're a baller here), F21 turban headband (similar), and Gucci slides.
Wednesday Outfit #1
Hiking Weimea Canyon in Lululemon speed shorts and Free to Be Wild bra. I got a lot of questions about the hiking boots. These were gifted to me years ago for the shoot for my book (if you have Namaslay, you'll see I'm wearing them in the shoot we did at Runyon Canyon in LA). I'm not an avid hiker by any means, but these are sturdy, comfortable, and I walked through puddles, mud and a stream and my feet stayed dry and without blisters! At just under $100, they're pretty budget friendly, too.
Wednesday Outfit #2
After the hike, we stopped at the beach to rinse off the mud! I wore a top and bottom from Gypsy Swimwear - they're an Australian brand.
Thursday
So, full disclosure that this photo was actually taken on Sunday but I wore the same dress yesterday. The only reason I don't have a photo of me in it is because I was dry heaving on a boat the entire day. Good times. See more in my Story on Instagram if you want a good laugh. The dress is an old F21 dress I got for like $10, so they don't make this exact style anymore, but here's a very similar one for about $15.
No outfit for Friday because it's 6am as I write this, still dark, and I'm in an old CrossFit t-shirt haha. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
