One of my goals this year is to better connect with the YBC Community and one of the ways I'm planning on doing that is by offering more workshops and classes live and in person. We've got one planned in Baltimore in September (currently sold out, but if there is more interest, we will switch to a bigger room within the same venue).
For my New England #ybcyogis, we are excited to announce we'll be offering an arm balance workshop on July 23, 2016 in Chester, Connecticut from 9:30am - 11:30am. This is a workshop for nearly all levels. If you've been to at least three yoga classes, you will be just fine. If you're totally new to yoga and have never, ever practiced before, you might want to sit this one out. Otherwise, come join us and don't forget - you'll need to bring your yoga mat and a fabulous can-do-anything attitude.
We will:
- start with gentle stretching
- do major, major core work
- fire up the upper body strength
- practice:
- headstands
- forearm stands
- crow pose
- side crow
- flying pigeon pose
- handstands
You will leaving feeling:
- empowered
- strong
- and probably sore #sorrynotsorry
