I’m feeling so thankful this morning because I’ve been struggling for the last year and a half with a bit of an identity crises once I realized that my YogaByCandace® name no longer was representative of what I truly do. I am so much more than that, you know? Anyway, I tried to change my IG handle but because I’m a verified user, I learned that I wasn’t able to change it. Because I’ve spent the last decade growing my IG following, I just decided to stay YogaByCandace®, the yoga teacher who does way more than yoga. I made a little video on YouTube explaining why I’ve been MIA, and shared my hope to be consistently posting this year, and I was so nervous what people would say because I’d mentioned I wanted to share intentional workouts, mobility stuff, and more. Today I checked the comments and everyone was so supporting and welcomed me back with open arms. It truly meant so much to me.
Anyway, I’m pumped I was able to stay consistent in my posting! Today’s video is a 20 minutes (ok, 19 min) resistance band workout with moves that should be helpful of improving your posture. I’d def recommend incorporating this into your yoga or movement practice once or twice a week for about 6 - 8 weeks for help with slouching. Let me know what you think!
