Well, it is finally here. The day my book Namaslay is officially released.
Actually, yesterday, we had a little fun at Barnes and Noble trying to find the book. It was still in the back, but we got it up front. :)
Anyway, in all seriousness, today's the actual release day. I can't quite believe it, although the nerves in my stomach from the speech I need to give tonight in NYC at Barnes and Noble tell me it's really happening. I am so thankful for all of you. For those who are coming to a Namaslay yoga workshop or book signing in New York, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, and CT, I cannot wait to meet you in real life!
To celebrate, we are doing a soft launch of Namaslay® merch. This will come in two waves. The first wave will be our luggage tags and notebooks. We commissioned artisans in the USA to hand-make each item.
The luggage tags are beautiful, sleek and sophisticated without being too precious. My hope is that you'll clasp one to your carry-on bag and go explore the world, and find yourself along the way. My hope is that you'll attach it to your yoga bag, or your gym bag, and get a little dose of loving kindness, strength, and motivation to get up and go to class when you need a little extra boost. Ultimately, my hope is that you are moved by it to dream, believe, and achieve everything you've ever wanted.
The Namaslay® notebooks are equally beautiful. The notebook is durable, chic, and sophicated without being too cutesy. They are cut, coiled and pieced together from 100% recycled materials and made in the USA by hand. My hope is that you'll use it for bucket lists and dreams and goals and ideas. My hope is that you'll hear a beautifully inspiring quote and write it down, or perhaps write a letter to a friend using a piece of the paper. My hope is that, ultimately, it'll hold your most precious ideas, memories and dreams so that you can always look back on the past and see how far you've grown, and look forward to the future with hope, love, and confidence that no matter what you'll do, you'll always slay.
