This weekend was super productive for me. On Friday, I stayed in and prepped my workshops at Indaba Yoga that are coming up at the end of this week. (There are still spaces left - come join if you're local!) I'm so excited to share what I've put together.
I also got in some reading of this new book called You are a Badass. The message is a lot like The Secret, but the writing is sometimes funny, sometimes quirky, sometimes cheesy. So far, though, a good reminder to stop doubting yourself. Side note: Are you reading something good I should know about?
Sunday morning found me drinking tea and writing a letter to my grandmother. I love that we keep in touch via snail mail. We've done it for years. She has the most elegant handwriting and always puts little stickers on her cards.
One of the best things about being in the Czech Republic is having grocery stores open on a Sunday. Hallelujah! Definitely missed that in Germany! So that was the big Sunday plan (I know, I know - it's a huge snoozefest). The weather was sort of chilly, but I didn't mind - fall is a favorite season!
I whipped up a delicious GAPS-friendly salad for lunch. I'm still going strong on GAPS to heal my stomach after longterm antibiotic use for Lyme disease and I am so happy to report that I am feeling even better than just a few months ago. It's incredible! You can check out my 9 months GAPS update here, if you're thinking about starting the diet. I'm looking forward to doing a one year update in October.
How was your weekend?
