Welcome to the weekend! What are your plans?! I'm fulfilling a bunch of custom yoga DVD orders, teaching classes, and then looking forward to a night out on Saturday.
Today's sequence is a favorite of mine when if my body is feeling especially stiff. Backbends look like they're just benefitting the back, but they're actually huge for opening up the front body (the chest, shoulders, stomach and thighs), so this sequence feels really good if you're just needing a solid stretch.
TIP: For each pose here, breathe 7-9 long, full breaths before moving on, and note that plank pose and warrior 1 variation should be done on both sides.
