Because I have arthritic issues, I try to incorporate as much alkaline forming food as I can into my diet. You can read more about alkaline foods here if you'd like, but basically it's just a way to get the body's pH, which can be slightly acidic due to the typical American diet, to be slightly alkaline. When our bodies are too acidic a number of health problems can arise: low energy, chronic fatigue, arthritic/joint issues, frequent headaches, intestinal issues, etc. If you're suffering from any of the above, try adding some of the above foods and see if it helps!
