When I re-read the title of this post I almost felt like it was letting you know about something you could take after a night of drinking, and while you definitely could, the type of recovery I'm talking about is of the post-work out variety. This is rich with antioxidants, high in protein and will give you a little boost of energy to help recover from...well, whatever you've got going on. :)
Ingredients for Chia Almond Recovery Shake
6 ice cubes
1 1/4 cup milk of choice (I used almond)
1t cinnamon
1t raw local organic honey
1 scoop greens powder
1t cod liver oil
1T almond butter (recipe to make it yourself here)
1T flaxseed
chia seeds to taste
Directions for Chia Almond Recovery Shake
Put everything except chia seeds into a high powered blender and blend until desired consistency. Add chia seeds on top. Drink and recover.
