I'm feeling energized and excited about the week ahead after such a great weekend. We got in a little bit of everything I love: the beach, hiking, working out, exploring new parts of town, and hanging with friends.
My Best of Both Worlds workshop was on Sunday, and it went so well. The Hub, in west LA, is a beautiful space, and the class went smoothly. We started with a centering, then went into a power flow, moved into restorative, slow poses and finished with a yoga nidra guided meditation. It was a great taste of what's to come at the Santa Barbara weekend retreat coming up in just a few short weeks. (There are a few spaces available, if you're interested!)
This weekend, full of activities, really reminded me how far I've come in my Lyme disease recovery. It wasn't that long ago that I wouldn't have been able to do even one of this past weekend's activities without feeling completely exhausted, and I'm feeling so grateful for that. Our health is truly our greatest wealth.

Saturday's gym sesh was a total body workout starting with shoulder press (5 sets of 15), trap bar (5 sets of 8), plyometric jumps and bounds, plyometric box jumps and battle ropes.
