I'm not ashamed to admit that instagram yoga inspires me. (Just do a search for #yoga if you have no idea what I'm talking about.) For the most part, I feel motivated by the super bendy yoga people I see, but then I'll sit down to film a restorative yoga and meditation video and realize that the real work is in the slower yoga practices. Now, don't misunderstand me - there is obvious work and dedication required to contort the body and do fingertip handstands, but the slow yoga? The one where you try to get out of your own head, turn off the thoughts, and feel each sensation as the tight muscles open up? It's no easy feat.
