It's been a minute since we've done a yoga video featuring a yoga wheel, so I thought I'd put together something quick but effective for the chest. While it says 'chest opening', this is also something that would be helpful for developing mobility through the upper back, armpits, and shoulders as well. If you're particularly tight through these areas, I'd suggest incorporating this video once or twice a week and see how it impacts your mobility over the course of six weeks of so.
We begin by opening up the side body and then get right into it. We do about six to seven minutes of chest opening before bringing it down to the ground for a full savasana. Some people don't love a full savasana, but particularly with chest opening, I think it's important to incorporate at least a few minutes at the end of the practice. Savasana is the time to let things go and to let your body kind of compute all it just did. Think of it as a transition time between your life on the mat and your life off the mat. Hope you guys enjoy!
