The other day I did a poll on Instagram Stories to see what kind of yoga practice you'd be most interested in, and by the end of the 24 hour poll, it was basically split right down the middle. So I filmed this restorative gentle practice first, and later followed up by filming a power vinyasa style practice as well, which you'll see on the blog next week.
For this practice, you'll need a yoga strap and a yoga block. This is a thirty minute, restorative practice that is focused on opening up the hips, which makes it appropriate for athletes, anyone who sits for long periods of time, or anyone dealing with minor lower back pain (as sometimes that is a result of tight hips). It's a gentle practice, and suitable even for beginners.
