Happy Thanksgiving!
Hope you all enjoyed a wonderful feast with the fam. I may or may not have enjoyed a feast of bratwurst and scrambled eggs instead of turkey, which made me sad for half a second but then I remembered that breakfast for dinner is always a good thing.
Why bratwurst, you ask?
Because on Tuesday we woke up in Maine, where my husband received a job offer in Germany, and we had to be on the plane that night. No big deal, really, since we had flown in from Florida on Monday night and therefore didn't even have to pack anything.
Besides, airports are beginning to feel like home. In the last two weeks I have traveled:
Prague>>Brussels>>Newark>>Miami>>San Jose>>Atlanta>>New York>>Miami>>Orlando>>Charlotte>>Portland>>Boston>>Munich
This means two things: 1) I am earning some MILES. And 2) my body has finally given out and I feel myself getting sick with an upper respiratory thing.
This latest move, as with anything, really, has a good side and a bad side. The bad side is that Buckles, my Siberian husky needed to stay behind because our trip was too last minute to get his paperwork done (but he'll join us in a few months, so it's all good). The good side is that Germany is awesome and I am so happy to be back.
YogaByCandace 2015 Retreat Schedule
In other news, I've been receiving a number of emails lately asking about my 2015 Yoga Retreat Schedule, and I want to let you all know that I have some in the works - I just need a few weeks to get all the details ironed out. If you want to be updated on upcoming retreats and yoga weekends, just fill this out. Be sure to tell me where you're located and/or willing to travel so I'll know not to send you the Colorado retreat info if you're based in South Africa. Unless you want to go to Colorado, in which case, hit me up! (And if you are in South Africa, let's plan something there because it's a dream destination!)
Also, if you've got this amazing yoga destination in mind and have a bunch of friends who might want to join you, don't forget about the custom yoga retreat option. Basically you just tell the YBC team what you want and we organize everything.
A last word
We just moved into a new place, and are waiting on the internet guys to come in a couple weeks, so I'll be updating as much as I can but it likely won't be the usual two a day posts. My current internet connection is super slow to the point that the page to answer comments won't load (#bloggerprobs) but I promise to respond to comments as soon as I get a faster connection. If you get bored, make sure to visit the YBC Yoga Forum, where hundreds of members are chatting it up about everything from travel to staying committed to the mat. You can also practice with me on YouTube. I appreciate you hanging out on this little corner of the internet, and being patient with me as I navigate through this next chapter.
