It's time for another Workout Wednesday post and today I'm comin' atcha with a six minute, strength building hiit workout. This post is brought to you by Rootz Nutrition. I am a big fan of both their Paleo Protein Powder and their Pre-Workout because they are 100% clean ingredients, taste amazing and easy to digest. Check out the video for a closer look.
I love hiit workouts because they don't take too long yet you still work up a good sweat. I also have found them far more effective for leaning out than the long cardio sessions I used to do back in the day. I also find them great for building strength and endurance - both of which are helpful in deepening your yoga practice.
In this hiit video we are going to do three rounds of three different movements, ten reps each movement. The first movement is a v-up, which I explain how to do in the video. The next movement I explain is the air squat, and the last movement is a T variation push up, which works your obliques, core and upper body strength. Give it a try and let me know how it goes down in the comment section below!
