We’re back with our third video in our four part Restorative Yoga Foundations series (here’s part 1 and part 2). In the first video, it was mostly an informational session to learn the basics of what this particular style of yoga is all about (and believe me, there are SO many styles of yoga!). In the second video, I discussed sequencing techniques and things to keep in mind when it comes to creating your own restorative yoga practice. Or if you’re a yoga teacher and would like to start teaching restorative yoga, you’ll find part two helpful, as it’ll share some key sequencing concepts to keep in mind.
In this third video on restorative yoga, I’m going to share a few ways we can manipulate the yoga props for a more comfortable practice. This is going to be especially helpful to people who have arthritic issues in the knees, or who just can’t seem to physically settle in comfortably in restorative postures. Check out the video below, and let me know if you like this style of presentation by leaving a comment in the section below. And,if you’re interested in restorative yoga teacher training, we go a bit deeper than this in our 200hr Namaslay® Yoga Teacher Training program, and much deeper in our Namaslay® Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Program - both happening in 2020!
