I've been interested in activewear for what feels like forever.
I first started working in a gym when I was sixteen. Back then, and up until about three or four years ago, all my activewear was either black or grey (much like the rest of my closet, to be honest). I'm not really sure what changed, but lately, for yogawear, I find I gravitate toward more crazy prints and loud colors. Today I wanted to highlight some of my favorite pairs of printed leggings in case you're in the market.
1. Onzie is a brand I'm pretty new to, but I am psyched I've learned about them. Aside from their cool printed pants, I am also loving their elastic bra (it's my favorite one for yoga - although, fair warning, it's got very little support so not so good for running). There's a gusset in the crotch for comfort, and their XS is like a Lululemon size 4.
2. These Northern Light pants by Teeki are a longtime favorite of mine. I've had them for years, and the color hasn't faded, and they've held up extremely well despite lots of wear. Not recommended for a hot yoga class (they're slightly sheer when wet), but otherwise, I love them. There's a gusset in the crotch so they're super comfortable while practicing. They run true to size - the XS is like a lululemon size 4.
3. My last favorite pair is this pair by Teeki as well called Balanced Traveler. I wear them so much and find the stripes to be surprisingly flattering (please don't burst my bubble if they're not, haha). Again, not recommended for, say, a Bikram class when you'll be drenched because they're sheer when wet, but for your regular yoga class they're perfection. Like the aforementioned pair, there's a gusset in the crotch so they're super comfortable, and they run true to size - an XS is like a Lululemon 4, in my opinion.
