Style Series is an installment to help get me out of my leggings & lipstick go-to look. I've always, obviously, wanted to feel put together, but growing up, I really never took the time to try to figure out what looks good on my body type, so this series is all about trying to figure that out.
I bought this jumpsuit on a whim, thinking I'd just return it in the very likely event that the legs were cut too long, or the waist dug intomy stomach or something. But! The unlikely happened. The hem of pants weren't cut too long, and the waist was so comfortable! Plus, there are pockets. Why does the sartorial value of a piece go up when it includes pockets?! The world may never know... but I do know one thing - this is easily my favorite piece of clothing for fall.
So. The jumpsuit is this super versatile blue-ish grey color. I wore it without any jewelry aside from a couple silver bracelets, but I love that you could wear it with dainty gold necklaces or a funky, ornate, bib-style necklace like the options below.
One of the things I love the most about this jumpsuit is that you can dress it up or down with shoes. I wore these funky, lace up heels because with such a simple jumpsuit, it needed a little somethin'. But I love it just as much for running errands with sneakers or flats to dress it down like the ones below.
I love the top of this jumpsuit because the v-neck is flattering for my build - smaller torso, but larger chest size. The top part has a discreet closure, and the long sleeves are perfect for call, but there is also a sleeveless version! A few other flattering cuts below.
I can't sing its praises enough. I'm a big fan of this off-the-mat outfit!
