Favorite Things is a series here on YBC where I share my favorite finds each month. Hope you'll share yours down below in the comments, on the YBC Yoga Forum or the YBC Official App, where we have a cool instagram-like feature to share photos. If you have a second, feel free to review the app, send a screenshot to Lauren and we'll send you a thank you gift in the mail!
I can't believe we are already in the middle of September! Where did summer go?! Ah well, there's something really nice about the back to school season - it feels like a great time of year to start something new, and I always feel inspired when fall rolls around.
In today's favorite things I'm sharing four recent discoveries for delish healthier snacks that'd be great for after school if you've got kiddos, or perfect for yourself for a middle of the day snack. I love that these products are gluten-free, and only contain recognizable ingredients I can pronounce and am familiar with.
1. OG Matters - walnut fudge brownies (4 pack) $12. Gluten-free, organic, non-gmo, moist brownies that make for the perfect mid-afternoon pick-me-up.
2. WB Kitchen - ona bar (1 bar, $2.99). These bars are awesome, especially if you're following a Paleo or GAPS diet. They are grain-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free. They're so good, and I will definitely be taking them with me this week when I travel!
3. Manitoba Harvest - hemp heart bites ($6.99). These protein-packed crunchy little snacks will hit the spot! They're made with hemp seeds and offer an earthy, sort of nutty taste that would be great in milk, yogurt, or on it's out straight out of the bag.
4. Naughty Turned Nice - Paleo party mix ($12) Whether you're a chocolate lover or prefer the original, you really can't go wrong with either of these mixes! They've got the perfect balance of sweet and salty, and are made from nearly all organic ingredients. I actually had to tell Lauren, YBC's Marketing Director, to take the bag away from me because I couldn't stop eating it! Perfect on its own or as a topping for yogurt.
I hope you enjoy! Let me know down in the comments below if you have any favorite snacks I should check out!
