Beauty Files is a monthly series on YBC that discusses all things beauty. Today, I'm sharing a cat eye make up look.
I was so surprised, in reading your feedback from our End of the Year Survey, that so many of you enjoyed the Make Up Tutorials. I know I'm not the best at putting together a make up look, but I really love playing around with make up and I'm psyched that you guys were not only into them, but that you wanted them more frequently.
I recently received the Winter Box of Style from The Zoe Report. It's a luxe quarterly subscription box curated by Rachel Zoe, and it's always got some glam products I'd never pick for myself, but always end up loving. In this box, they included Sex Kitten, which is this genius eye marker to create a solid cat eye. It's about as fool proof as you can get to for a cat eye tool. To do the cat eye, I started at the middle of my eye, and just traced the outer edge, making it thicker as I made my way to the outside corner of the eye. Then, I went to the inner corner of the eye, and thinly traced the edge of my eye until the line met with the line I started in the middle of my eye. It was easier than it sounds (and looks). Check out the video below for step by step instructions, and see the products I used below.
