In today's Workout Wednesday post, I'm excited (and slightly embarrassed) to share another hiit workout. I say I'm embarrassed because I said to our intern Madison, "Ok, I think I'll film a quick hiit workout that isn't too hard," annnnd then I proceeded to nearly die from the aforementioned hiit workout. Let's just say that "quick" doesn't necessarily mean "easy." I was huffing and puffing at the end there!
Ok so this workout starts with jump lunges. You really want to be sure you're pushing through the heel of the front foot so you're working the booty and hamstrings. We do ten of those and then move into jump squats, which were Madison's suggestion, and a movement I don't do nearly as often as I should. Doing these right after the jumping lunges will make your legs burn-so-good. After the jump squats, we do hollow rocks - a great ab movement that's meant to give you a little breather between the two aforementioned explosive movements.
Give it a try and let me know your thoughts down in the comments section below. Like I said, it is tough for sure, but it goes by quickly!
