Motivation Monday is a new weekly series on YBC® where we'll unveil that week's podcast episode of Namaslay with YogaByCandace®, a few inspirational uplifting or interesting bits from around the web, and new books, finds and other goodies our team is loving.
This week we'll begin another Namaslay® YTT adventure! I'm so looking forward to starting this teacher training with our small group of students. Buckles will be with us, which makes me so happy, and I'm excited to be in the quiet, serene nature of the Tennessee mountains. Be sure to stay tuned to Instagram to follow the journey.
Another part of the training I'm excited about is having some of our YTT Thailand instructors return for Tennessee, including our YBC® strength coach Dan Tavino. He and I just returned from 7 weeks of travel - literally around the world - from New York, to Koh Samui, to Chiang Mai for the actual training, then a quick stop in Oman, and then on to Santorini for a YBC® yoga retreat, a quick stop in Athens and finally returning to the States. While I do love travel, sometimes I find it hard to be off my routine and not let the little things bother me. So in this week's podcast, Dan and I will talk about the ways we maintain our physical health and mental sanity while traveling for such a long time. If you have any tips you've found helpful when traveling, please comment below! I'd love to hear.
Namasaly® Podcast Season 2, Episode 13: In this episode, YBC® Strength and Conditioning coach Dan Tavino sits down with me in Oman to discuss how we manage to stay healthy while traveling. We offer all our tips on fighting off in-flight germs, making nutritional choices on the local market, and coping with homesickness while enjoying your time away. If you are looking to maintain a healthy lifestyle mentally and physically while on the road, this podcast is for you! It is available on iTunes, PlayerFM, Spotify and pretty much anywhere you listen to podcasts. Or, you can also listen here. And if you have a second, would you mind taking this survey? We just want to get some demographics about who's listening to the podcast. Thanks!
