Happy Monday, my friends. Another Monday, another podcast, and this one I am really excited about. It features my friend Julius, someone I admire greatly for his ability to always stay grounded and grateful, no matter what the circumstance. We’ve been going back and forth lately sharing positive, uplifting stories on Instagram, and sending random texts messages to keep each other motivated and striving towards our goals. Our exchanges remind me that happiness is not only a choice, but it’s almost a muscle we have to keep working out in order to see the results. You want to feel happy, motivated, grateful? You’ve got to constantly put yourself in the position to feel that way. I learned in this book that research suggests your body doesn’t know the difference between a real, genuine smile or one created by simply putting a pencil between your teeth, which forces you to mimic a smile. Same, same (but different). My point is, we’ve got to surround ourselves with people who live at the same vibration as you, and we’ve got to practice feeling the way we want to feel all the time. Let’s keep that in mind this week!
