This past December, I held the first ever Namaslay® Business and Marketing Retreat in Scottsdale, Arizona. I had a great group of yoga instructors from all over the U.S. who shared a common goal - to learn how to increase their business earning potential and marketing capabilities. It was a great success and so I’m happy to announce that we’ll be putting on the next long weekend entrepreneurial retreat in Austin, Texas from September 12-15, 2019.
This isn't a vacation style retreat. Instead, this is a business retreat with a packed schedule of marketing, media, pitching, and business courses to help you leverage your expertise, develop and execute exciting workshops and retreats, and help you creatively earn passive income so you always have a steady monetary stream. Led by Candace Moore, best-selling author of Namaslay®, an international yoga instructor, YouTube partner, and founder of Mantra Box®, this retreat will help guide you on your way to living the best version of your life. You can expect to leave the retreat armed with marketing tools and business strategies to make your dreams a reality.
The Business and Marketing Program:
This long weekend yoga retreat includes five carefully designed business and marketing workshops to provide instruction, guidance and information surrounding the business of marketing yourself as a yoga instructor or business owner. You will also learn to pose for engaging and dynamic photos and will take part in guided phototshoot, leaving with a portfolio of photos to help market yourself and your company. Our goal is to instill the tools, resources, and proficiency for you to become a successful self-marketing, business-savvy and in-demand entrepreneur. We want you to leave this workshop feeling empowered and inspired in marketing yourself and your business to produce income and create a solid clientele base.
The Workshops:
Social Media Training - Learn to grow your social media platforms, including Instagram and YouTube. Learn how to leverage your own personal experiences to position you as an expert in your field, to take great photos that will engage followers, advertisers, and prospective clients, and to create and increase social media engagement with impactful photos and videos.
Sponsorships: Learn to pitch companies for sponsorships that will help fund your projects or enhance your offerings, and how to develop a pitch that will elicit time-sensitive participation.
Developing and Marketing Successful Workshop Offerings: Learn to utilize your personal life experiences to create offerings that speak to your specific following, and to understand the vital piece of what every advertising blast should have to make your offering a success.
How to Develop Passive Revenue Streams: Learn how to earn passive income in order to create a dependable, but passive, revenue stream while you engage in other areas of business development.
Yoga Retreats 101: Learn how to effectively create, plan, and execute successful retreats all over the world, and to ensure less work and stress for you while doing so.
The Photoshoot and Takeaway Images
Learn first how to take dynamic photos of yourself that will elicit marketing engagement, then take part in two photoshoots under experienced guidance: one, a series of headshots, and the second, a yoga pose photoshoot.
You'll get to leave with a total of ten images you can use to market your future events.
The Meditation and Optional Yoga:
Three aromatherapy guided meditations with Candace on the topics of strength, becoming in tune with our own inherent gifts, and the law of the attraction.
Two optional yoga classes with Namaslay® YTT Thailand Graduate, Ashely S., to keep your body moving and serve as a great way to refocus your mind for the next workshop.
The Location:
Austin, Texas is the ideal backdrop for any retreat - but especially this one. With an average temperature in the upper 80s to low 90s in September, Austin will be welcoming for any outdoor learning and relaxing, as well as yoga classes. In the diverse and eclectic neighborhood of Travis Heights you’ll be close to a number of restaurant and shopping options, as well as downtown Austin. The actual gathering space is located on Travis Heights Blvd, in one of Austin's favorite neighborhoods, and is within walking distance to South Congress (SOCO) and Big Stacy Pool.
The Venue:
The venue we've selected for this retreat looks so authentically Austin and so perfect for a group event like this. This spacious, beautifully decorated residence with tons of character consists of a large main house and guest house. The house and guest house have private entrances yet share an amazing open yard and outside dining area - perfect for gatherings during breaks or evenings. There is also designated parking available for up to 5 vehicles.
We have limited space, and we anticipate this retreat will sell out quickly, so act fast.
The Pricing:
$1700 shared double room
$1850 single room

A word about YBC® Retreats:
Our retreats are laid back, good times with awesome people. There's no one to impress, nothing to prove, and everything to share. There's no expectation that you have to be at a certain place in your knowledge as an instructor or a student. We encourage you to honor how you feel on any given day. Bring a sense of humor and an open heart, and prepare yourself for the best time! We get a lot of questions about traveling alone. Rest assured, most people who attend our retreats come alone. By the end of day one, you will have met and connected with everyone and we're positive you'll all become fast friends with whom you can explore the village. Book your spot now!
Terms and Conditions:
All sales are final if you choose to pay in full up front. For people opting to do the payment plan, the $500 deposit is non-refundable and any monthly payments you've made are non-refundable. No reimbursement will be granted because we need to pay the hotel or residence accommodations. We accept no liability for loss, damage, injury or illness, which may occur during the retreat or traveling to or from the retreat. All students are strongly recommended to have their own travel insurance to cover any loss or injury, including repatriation if necessary. It is advisable to take out travel insurance in the event that you have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. We reserve the right to make any changes to our program, accommodation, courses or teachers. Alternative arrangements are offered to the best of our ability but if not taken up, we do not accept responsibility for any costs incurred, including airfare. Students who have chosen a single room will not qualify for any discount regardless of whether another student happens to be alone in a 'shared' room. For fitness or yoga aspects of retreats: We take every step to ensure that students are not stretched beyond the limit of their capabilities. We ask that you speak up if you have any particular pre-existing injury or illness that is relevant. We advise that you always listen to your body, and if you are feeling any pain or illness during the class that you stop and rest. Due to any acrobatic components of this retreat, the fitness portion of the program may not be suitable for pregnant women. It is best to check with your physician prior to engaging in any physical activity that will result in an elevated heart rate.
