Motivation Monday is a new weekly series on YBC® where we'll unveil that week's podcast episode of Namaslay with YogaByCandace®, a few inspirational uplifting or interesting bits from around the web, and new books, finds and other goodies our team is loving.
Happy Monday everyone! You may have seen over on Facebook that our Namaslay® Scottsdale Winter Business and Marketing Retreat sold out in just days, so we've added a new Namaslay® Vail Business and Marketing Retreat in October, so be sure to reserve your spot before it sells out too! And since I receive so many questions on the business of becoming a successful yoga instructor, I'm also bringing you today's Namaslay® podcast that goes over all you need to know about putting together a great workshop. I'd love hear if you have anything to add so please comment below!
It's the final week of our very first Namalsay® Yoga Teacher Training program, and I honestly can't believe it. It's been an incredible two weeks and now we're finishing strong! Our students are doing their teaching practicums this week, so they've got a lot on their plates, and as teachers we've got a lot on ours as we evaluate and offer feedback so that we can send them out into the world the absolute best teachers they can be. Our team is also getting ready for our next Namaslay® Yoga Teacher Training program which will take place in Tennessee starting August 28th. To prep, I've been working on the scheduling, and finalizing logistics like flights and car rentals. At the end of this week I'll be traveling to Oman for the first time ever. I'm doing a partnership with Shangri-La hotels, and can't wait! Be sure to follow along on Instagram if you're interested in traveling vicariously!
Namaslay® with YogaByCandace® Season 2, Episode 8: In today’s episode I’m shifting gears and talking about the business side of yoga. Many of you have asked for a rundown of how I put together workshops and retreats, so I’m going to dive into the workshop piece today, and share how I handle retreats in next week’s episode. If you’re a yoga teacher looking to start hosting workshops or retreats, these two podcasts are for you. I hope you enjoy! It is available on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and pretty much anywhere you listen to podcasts. Or, you can also listen here. And if you have a second, would you mind taking this survey? We just want to get some demographics about who's listening to the podcast. Thanks!
