I’m so excited about YBC’s® holiday gift guides this year because each team member is curating one. I’m up first, sharing my guide for your BFF. I’ve tried to hit all price points so whether it’s a little stocking stuffer item or a big ticket gift, I’ve gotcha covered.
Love and Other Words, $8. This book was so beautifully written - I could not put it down!
Agate Coasters, $29.95. If your friend has got a chic boho vibe to her home, these are so cute. I’ve got some and I use them daily at my desk.
Fuckity Fuck Fuck, an adult coloring book, $6.99. No explanation needed. Don’t forget the colored pencils.
Artis Elite Brushes, $110. So these are a bit of a splurge, but my goodness have they been all the rage for the last little bit. If your BFF is into make-up, these are a winner.
Real Good Coffee, $24. Fun fact: Every time I travel, I buy coffee beans at the local market. It’s one of my favorite gifts to both give and receive!
Stance Socks, $12 - $29. I love this brand so much - their socks are fantastic! I love a taller pair to wear with winter boots, and their no-show pair for sneakers.
Dyson Hair Dryer, $399. If you’ve got a bigger budget, you can’t go wrong with this hair dryer, which everyone says is the best thing to hit the market in years. Apparently it’s supposed to make your hair super super shiny!
Oversized Scarf, $48. Given how often I travel, one of my best purchases this year was this oversized scarf. It’s pretty pricey, so this Free People one is a more budget friendly, and equally gorgeous and functional.
Wang Fanny Pack, $495. I have been crushing on this fanny pack for months ever since I saw a girl wearing it slung over her shoulder with a green bomber and faux leather leggings.
Champion Hoodie, $65. Athleisure is still going strong, and I love these durable, warm sweatshirts so much.
Coconut Oil Hair Gel, $29. I received this in a press box and it has been my go-to product when I want to air dry my hair. It gives you the best messy beachy texture!
Cast Iron Skillet, $150. One of the best gifts I ever received was a cast iron skillet from my mom. I literally use it every single day.
Travel Sticker, $8. I have been on a sticker kick lately. I want all the stickers I come across, and I want to put them all over my laptop and luggage. I love the idea of giving a city sticker in a card and then in the card letting your friend know you’ve booked a girls’ trip to the city on the sticker! Use my AirBnB link for $40 off your first reservation!
Floor Length Duster, $218. I have been looking for a velvet duster for literally over a year. This is one of those great year-round pieces.
Coin Necklace, $68. This one looks just like my Joolz necklace that I have and it’s half the price!
I am a also huge fan of putting together a basket of little gifts with a theme. I love both giving and receiving these types of gifts. Here are a couple themes you could do:
Bath Theme: Bathtub Tray, $18. For a bath theme, you could do this tray that goes over the tub, a beautiful book of poetry, face masks, epsom salt, a hair towel, and body oil. Total cost? About $49!
Sleep Theme: Start with a small tray, $6. On top, put a silk pillowcase, a sleep sound machine (I actually own this and love it - it’s super lightweight too and I bring it with me when I travel), beeswax candles, and an essential oil blend for sleep. Total cost? About $47!
Workout Theme: Start with a cute gym bag, $17. Fill it with resistance bands, hair ties, Namaslay® GOAT tape, a funny graphic tank, and a high quality protein powder (use code yogabycandace for 10% off!). Total cost? About $55!
Yoga Theme: Start with a lined basket, $9. Add in a copy of Namaslay, a yoga strap, a water bottle, and a bottle of essential oil wipes. Total cost? about $55!
Cooking Theme: Start with a stainless steel pot, $18. Add in fresh ginger, bay leaves, and my favorite seasoning. You could also add olive oil (use code podcast for a discount!), a super cute kitchen towel, a bag of Italian pasta, a funky strainer and a mini journal in which you write your favorite recipes. Total cost? About $68!
Self-Care Theme: Start with a basket, $5. Add incense, a gratitude journal, a bath bomb, adult coloring book with markers, a nod pod, and a onesie. Total cost? About $95.
Travel Theme: Start with a carry on tote, $4. Fill it with a hotspot (use code yogabycandace for a 10% discount! - this thing is great, I have used it literally all over the world). Add in a funny luggage tag, a travel jewelry organizer, packing cubes (seriously, these make packing SO much easier) and a travel journal. Total cost? About $215.
