Aside from the plain black leotard I bought to wear for the cover photo of Namaslay, the last leotard I purchased was for dance class back when I was a little ballerina at the age of five.
A few weeks ago Onzie sent me this printed bodysuit (also available in black) and I put it on yesterday with my Sweaty Betty legwarmers and socks underneath so I could practice my splits. I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it in a class setting, but for a personal practice I loved wearing it...and it's bathing suit material so it could work for a beach practice as well!
I get a lot of questions about what I'm wearing in the video above - another look I really love (and would actually wear to class. It's an American Apparel bodysuit with a pair of leggings on top. I particularly like it for teaching because baggy clothing tends to hide subtle (yet important) movement when you're demonstrating, yet I still feel covered and secure. Sweaty Betty makes a really cute unitard if you're looking for a solid one piece (oooo they have a mesh insert one as well!).
Inspired by the leotard trend these days, I found a few more I'm a fan of. I'd love to hear your thoughts - are you into the leotard look? For yoga? For everyday wear with shorts over top?
