HEADS UP! I'm teaching at Sweaty Betty in SoHo this coming Monday! The class is sold out but get on the waitlist here.
ShopBop is having their Friends and Family sale, where you can take 25% off everything with code INTHEFAM. Today is the last day of the sale, so get on it! I thought I'd share my picks and some favorites I already own down below.
First up, leggings. I have my eye on those bright pink bad boys in the upper right hand corner by Beyond Yoga (excellent quality!), and on the bottom right corner, I'd love to try that bright pair from Splits59. In the middle row on the far left is a pair of zig zag capris by PrismSport. I have a pair by them, and think they're fantastic.
Up next, my current favorite trend, joggers. Super easy to wear with sneakers and I usually throw on a more fitted shirt and some bright lipstick to feel a little more put together. I have a pair from Private Party, which is the company that makes the Squad and Cheat Day pair you see in the first and second row, and they're my favorite sweats. I have my eye on the olive green pair on the bottom right, but I'm nervous because my legs are curvy so I don't know how they'd look on. Luckily ShopBop ships and returns for free so I guess I could pull the trigger and try them on!
Up next, tops. I like graphic tops to wear with leggings or joggers to and from the gym or yoga class. I love the shirt on the bottom left for teaching in because it doesn't fly up so my students can see what I'm doing. And I am dying over that Killing It Softly sports bra!
And lastly, a few favorites I thought I'd share. Starting at the top left, my absolute favorite brand of scarves - Missoni. I have a bunch of them - they're like my winter thing. I love how thick and cozy they are, and they wrap around your neck a million times and the colors are always beautiful.
Next, sunglasses. Last year, I got a pair of mirrored aviators from Ray Ban that I absolutely love, so when I saw the orange pair, I thought I'd share. They'd be fire for the summer.
On the top right, you'll see a plain blank tank. I am really particular about tanks. I like them to be a certain length, have just the right amount of compression, and strap width. Vince makes fantastic basic tanks and they hold up for years. It's called the Favorite Tank and I guess it makes sense. Perfect all year round worn alone with shorts in the summer or layered under tunics in the fall.
In the middle we have some cute easy tanks, and then a really cute henley dress I just got. I love it because it's so easy to wear with sneakers or sandals.
On the bottom left is another easy dress. This one has ruching along one hip so the material gathers and lays perfectly - it's such a flattering dress and I can't wait to wear it this spring.
The two rompers on the right are by Blue Life, and this company is my favorite for rompers. They're lightweight, easy, and I love that I feel a bit more secure in them than in a mini dress.
On the next page is my favorite brand of jeans (J Brand). I am a huge fan of the consistency of the brand - they fit perfectly across the board no matter what the style and they hold up for years. Denim is definitely something I invest in because they really do hold up over time. I last pair of jeans I bought was maybe four years ago and they're still perfect.
And lastly is a pair of short shorts by a brand I've been wanting to try for ages - One Teaspoon.
Anything you've got your eye on? Any brands you are absolutely loyal to? I'd love to hear down in the comments below.
