Blogging is so weird. All I really wanted to say in this post was that I made a bangin' smoothie that I enjoyed after teaching my morning yoga class yesterday. I should've just left it at that, but instead I took a pic that says hey, here I am drinking a smoothie in the freezing cold as I casually lean up against my flower boxes that I don't know how to tend to. #BloggerProbz
Anyway.
Yesterday was my last Sunday of teaching here in Germany. I'm teaching the rest of the week and I leave for the Ibiza yoga retreat next week! Where has the time gone?! So between teaching I've been trying to pack like crazy, and basically my entire house looks like this --->
Yesterday we took a break from packing to just relax and catch our breath. We went for a walk with our pup (whose leg is still bothering him, vet appointment today), and I did some research for a weekend retreat I'd like to host in California this June (let me know if you're interested in joining!).
Anyway, back to the cranberry smoothie!
You'll wanna get in on this smoothie if you need a pick-me-up following a workout. It's sweet and refreshing, and the yogurt gives it a bit of substance to hold you over until lunch.
Ingredients for CranBerry Smoothie
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
1/3 cup homemade yogurt (receive the recipe when you sign up for the YBC newsletter)
1/4 cup pure cranberry juice
1 orange
Directions for CranBerry Smoothie
Put the yogurt in a high-powered blender, then add the rest of the ingredients. Blend on high until smooth and drink up.
