It was a chilly weekend (gross understatement), but that didn't stop us from heading out to a soccer game on Saturday. We bundled up and brought a blanket, but still had to leave halfway through because neither of us could feel our toes. It was a great experience though- the atmosphere was crazy (see below).
Afterwards, we made a fish soup and followed it up with an attempt at banana ice cream, which doesn't make much sense given how cold we had been all evening...but it came out pretty good! It's not perfect, but if you want to try your hand at it, I used 3 frozen bananas, 1 scoop of homemade yogurt, and two handfuls of almonds in the vitamix.
We also got to watch a few movies that have been on our radar. We saw Reasonable Doubt, which was good but has one of those trailers that reveals too much so I felt like I already knew what was going to happen. We also watched August: Osage County, which was really good, but definitely not something to see if you're looking for an uplifting, feel good movie.
I also was able to finalize plans to teach my pop up class next Sunday in Athens, Greece. All the details are here, if you're local and would like to join.
How was your weekend?
