Growing up, my family would cook with garlic, throw it in salads raw, and take garlic pills at the first sign of illness. It was the cure for nearly every ailment back then. So when I was gathering info for this post I knew that garlic had a lot of benefits, but when I started researching I was blown away. Kills E. Coli and salmonella when you cook with it? May treat cancer?! It's a wonder drug, and it's right on our countertop!
PS- Health benefits of seeds, anti-inflammatory foods, and interesting salad pairings for when salads get boring.
