After the longest day ever, t̶h̶e̶ ̶t̶r̶a̶v̶e̶l̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶c̶i̶r̶c̶u̶s̶ my family made it to Germany! The first flight was pretty brutal. The guy directly behind us took his shoes off and the entire plane smelled like feet. The stench was so putrid that even the flight crew complained about it. Finally someone came around with some sort of body spray and sprayed the entire plane. I was feeling nauseous pretty much the entire time, but I had a scarf with me and wrapped it around my head high enough that it would cover my nose. Woof.
The second flight didn't smell at all but I was seated next to a crying baby. Some days you just can't win.
I didn't sleep at all during the travel, and by the looks of it, I don't think my husky did, either. Poor guy was so out of it, but other than being tired he was totally fine.
We unpacked, ate dinner, and slept from 10pm until 11am. It's about noon and I am already exhausted again. Jet lag is pretty brutal, but should be gone in a couple days.
Blogging may be intermittent over the next few days until we get internet at home. Have a wonderful weekend!
