With the exception of a couple all nighters in college, I've never really been a big coffee drinker. Teas are where it's at for me in the fall and winter, but when the warmer weather starts to make its way back in town, fresh juice in the morning is the way to go. Today I made a refreshingly delicious juice and thought I'd share. It's packed with skin-improving properties (beta carotene from the orange, vitamin A from the blueberries, vitamin E from kiwi), and will help your body's pH become a bit more alkaline which is also good for breakouts- as usually whatever's happening on the surface of the skin is due to what's going on internally. Here's what to do:
Ingredients for Juice for Improved Skin
1 organic orange
1 cup organic blueberries (I used frozen)
1 organic kiwi
1 organic lemon
Directions for Juice for Improved Skin
Put everything into a high powered blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
*Tip - For cold juice, use fruit that has been refrigerated or add a few ice cubes to the blender.
