For ages I've been baking my spaghetti squash. Every time, I'd subsequently try to convince myself that it actually tasted like pasta, but there was no denying it. It was dry, stringy squash.
While in Dubai, my friend suggested we make spaghetti squash, but her oven was broken. We ended up boiling it, and it came out actually tasting like pasta! I've made it twice since, and it's been great each time, so this method is a winner.
Directions for Boiling Spaghetti Squash
Cut the squash in half the long way. Then, cut each side in half so you have four pieces. Fill a large pot with lots of water, and put the squash in. Bring to a boil, then reduce to medium heat and cook for 15 minutes. Strain, and run cold water over the squash so it cools down. Scoop the seeds out and discard. Then, take a fork and gently scrape. The squash should could out looking (and tasting!) like pasta.
