Hey friends! Today I'm partnering up with Lull to share a yoga in bed video! Lull mattress come shipped in a box and to be honest, I wasn't quite sure what to expect from a mattress in a box. I mean, I had questions. Is it going to be wrinkled and uncomfortable? Would it be a nightmare trying to get it from the mail room to my apartment?
But, as someone who has pretty much lived exclusively in apartments over the last fifteen or so years of my life, I think the whole mattress in a box thing is kind of genius. The high end mattress is almost shrunken and rolled up into a box, which makes it so easy if you're in a small apartment or have a bunch of narrow hallways or staircases that lead to your bedroom.
Then, as you can see in the video - the second you cut into the plastic wrapping, the mattress inflates to be a regular mattress. I was worried about wrinkles or sunken spaces due to it being rolled up, but there was nothing. Kind of awesome. Click here for $50 off your Lull mattress, and give it a try for 100 nights. If you don't love it, they'll come pick it up and refund your money!
Ok in today's video we are going to be doing a gentle hip opening yoga in bed sequence. These are wonderful for first thing in the morning or just before going to bed. In this sequence I am using two props - a rolled up blanket and a pillow. We start with a centering, and then move into a few shoulder and neck stretches, and then come into child's pose with some twists. From there we move into some inner thigh stretches, and then some hip opening poses. Hip opening is excellent
